Hell Mouth

I am interested in Latin culture.  There are many authors in Latin America that are translated into English.  Most famous of all were Castaneda and Ruiz.  There is western yoga like there is Eastern yoga.  Aztec Yoga is all about Sex and the Sacred.

Lust is not the most evil thing in life.  On the contrary, it is the best.  Love and Lust are two things, but you need both to be a good human being.  The light is love, and the flesh is lust.  So love is an emotion, and sex is just gratification of the body.

But as long as we are alive, we need to balance between love and lust.  You have a body, so you need to eat and sleep and bathe and all that.  And we have a spirit so we need love and emotions and wisdom and knowledge.

God is Love, and the Devil is Lust.  But don't pretend like you are not lusty.  We are animals.  Life begins at the root chakra with food, sex, and aggression.  And as you go up the spine, it ends with the crown chakra and enlightenment and Oneness.  So kundalini yoga is the real self realization.  It is becoming your full potential.

So when I see porn, I don't feel ashamed.  Every woman has sex for money.  By 15 or 16, women realize that their vagina is a commodity.  A woman can get something with her sexuality.  Nobody pays men for sex.  Even male strippers are just pretty boys doing a fantasy business.  So women have more value than men.

The aesthetics of porn is all about what we secretly value.  The main thing, no kidding, is the penis next to the woman's face.  These two things are the most beautiful things in the world.  And the ejaculation is called, 'the moneyshot' because that is what people pay to see.  The most ridiculous moneyshot is in the woman's mouth.

So sex is just about lust and expression of rage.  We are animals who think.  First thing is self defense, eating, and fucking.  If you can't do anything else, just sit around at home cooking and eating.  The root chakra is the animal part of the human being, but a human being can go beyond the animal kingdom.  That is why any human birth is fortunate.  We are better than dogs or monkeys or whatever.

I find the Latinas and Asians the most interesting.  Latin women are great at sex and very lusty.  Asian women are submissive and servile.  I am not a big fan of white and black and all that.

This post is not about porn or lust.  It is about what we see in porn.  There is an aesthetic to it.  And between porn and art is erotica.  Erotica is art about lust and sex.

What I am trying to say is, lust is a part of life and you have to accept you are part beast before you move on to the higher realms.

Action Reaction

Every day, I learn new things.  Life is not static.  It is not about one thing and one thing only.  I observe and reflect and grow.  I do not stop learning.  I helped a friend do grocery shopping and he helped me back by hooking me up with some food.  So I learned that Kano's axioms are right.

Mutual Welfare and Benefit is the premise of society.  I help you and you help me back.  And if I hurt you, you have a right to hurt me.  But if I do nothing for nobody, nobody helps me.  This is called equity.  The universe was founded on equity.

I have plans for the future.  I want more jobs in the graphic design field, I want to publish more books on nutrition, and I plan on writing a comic book or illustrated book for children.  But these things do not happen easy.  You must dream up an idea, plan it, do prelimary sketches, and accomplish the goal by a series of acts.  I have the tools to do it.  But I must get active.  And the more I do, the more I get.

So I must put behind me the past of music and combat sports and all the girls I wish I had dated in high school and all that jazz.  Porno and MMA is bad entertainment.  I stayed childlike for too long.  One brother helped me learn judo.  The other is helping me learn to grind a dayjob.  Judo is survival on a more primitive level, work is survival on a more sophisticated level.

So Maslow was right.  You go from low to high.  Music is based on the bass.  Health is based on nutrition.  All religious knowledge is rooted in the bible.  You start at the base and you work up to the noble.  But I took a long time to learn.

So my future is in graphic design and nutrition books and I plan on learning cartooning and storyboarding and ultimately creating digital comics for young people.  Kids between the age of 15 and 30 are punks exploring themselves.  You must get them when they are young.  By age 30 or 35, you are spent like an arrow.  And then life is only slowly dying.  A Hindu plans his life according to the ideal lifespan.  In Hindu philosophy a man should live 100 years.  But this is just an ideal.  Some live 80, some live 60, some die in youth.  Some die in their teenage years, which is a tragedy.  I do not need longevity.  I simply want to live and die in peace.

So I will do what I must do before I am done.

Been to Yokohama

Been fighting in the war.  This is a lyric from a Chuck Berry song.  It mentions references to serving in the military.  I like Chuck Berry's music and feel it was the origins of rock n roll.  And this genre of music defined what America gave to the world.

In general, Americans are punk ass bitches with distorted values.  But America seems to be the last empire.  There is good and bad here.  I like rock albums and cartoons and I used to like music videos on MTV.  The media is fun but it is just fake entertainment.

When I read the Baghavad Gita from a bookstore in my hometown in the 2000s, I saw it as a revelation from God.  It is one book that summarizes all the other books in the library.  You can read a thousand books and know very little, or you can read the Gita and know all a human can know.  Mysticism is how you become one with God.

So I like Yoga and see it more than just exercise.  In the USA, we see hatha yoga as something you do at a studio to get in shape without competing with people.  But in Russia, they see Yoga as a more comprehensive lifestyle.

I have been exposed to yogis like Vivekenanda, Yogananda, his disciple Kriyananda, and now there is Sadghuru.  I consider myself a Yogi too, but in a different style.  I am part Hispanic and part Ango Saxon and part Jewish.  So my characteristics are different.

Kriyananda was very warlike and hard and courageous.  Yogananda was very soft and kind.  Kriyananda was very intelligent and benevolent.  I see Sadghuru as popular and smart, but he is not as good as the former ones.  My yoga is similar to the Shamans of Mexico since the West has spiritual teachers too.

Every kind of civilization that lives in the tropics and eats tropical food and lives a more harmonious lifestyle speculates on philosophy and the meaning of life.  I was taught in my LifeFood training that man was meant to live in a semi tropical environment.  We should be eating fruit and rice and honey.  And pork goes bad almost instantly in a tropical environment.  When you conform to nature, you are harmonious, when you try to innovate, you invariably fail.  There are only two kinds of people, the good and the bad.  And bad people cannot admit they are wrong.

So whatever kind of man you are, and whatever kind of inborn characteristics you have, you do not really change over your life.  You only get stronger and it gets easier to survive.

So Yoga is profound.  And there is more than one type in the world.  And now that I am living apart from my family, I see both Latinos and Hindus around my apartment.  And it's alright.  Latinos are about lust and desire and Hindus are philosophical people who love food and philosophy.  So there are different kinds of Yoga depending on your racial characteristics.  Don't take yourself so seriously.

I like my parents and my racial characteristics.  Latin culture is very rich.  I may never get to visit Mexico or Spain or Brazil but I can look at things online or go to Mexican restaurants and fill up on the salsa and chips before the actual entree comes to the table.  It's not that bad.

So the beat goes on and I continue.  Life is developing.  I need more money to get more power, but I just want to have a ball.  I like certain things like rock n roll music and combat sports.  But this is just entertainment.  I need a job and a schedule and a way of life.  If you want to enjoy life, you got to do work first.

So I must get on my bike and ride.

Changes

You will find that you cannot outdo your genetics.  You often resemble your parents and have some of their characteristics.  That is why people are proud of their heritage, it defines their identity.  Racial characteristics are very real, and that is why people in America are sensitive about race and gender.  They think they are this and you are that and so we area different.  But this is an artificial distinction.  Race and Gender can change within one's lifetime let alone within many.

I have qualities of my mother and father.  I wasn't raised by my birth parents.  I knew I was different from the people who raised me and different from the people I went to high school and college with.

Overall, I am a Portuguese Jew.  My father is a Latino and my mother is a kind of Jewess.  I also have Native American heritage in me.  I am not a Caucasian and I am not an eastern European Jew.

I am entering the last phase of my life.  By 40 or so, you are middle aged.  Most people live only 80 or so years, so 40 is mid way through life.  A good Hindu sees that there are four phases of life, and by the third or fourth you should be preparing for the end.

The ideal life is where you start in nutrition and health, then get a career skill, work, retire, and spend your last days meditating on the meaning of life.  To die with contentment is victory.  Yoga is a heroic religion where you win salvation.  It is the real Christianity.

So in my 40 or so years, I went through a lot of changes.  By the time I was a young man, I was a zen immortal, a hunchback, and a musician.  And now in my middle age, that is all I am.  Life comes full circle.  You end up where you started.  The things you do and experience during your lifetime don't really amount to anything, they are just experiences.  That is why rich people are stupid, they want to accumulate possessions when it is better to accumulate friendships and relationships.  They are worth more.

I want to enjoy my time and play more guitar.  Music makes me happy and my music is a combination of music and poetry.  The chords are music and the lyrics are poetry.  It is fun to write a new song.  When I write a new song, I write the chord progression first and then I add the lyrics.  My last song was Song of the Maccabbe which is about the spirit warrior of Jewish mythology.  It is my swan song.

This world is worthless and you can only grab so much joy from it.  There is a process of life in that you are born in waking up, you go through changes, the sun sets, you enter the nighttime of beings, and then you fall asleep in death.  Your dreams are your mind in the bardo and you are reborn the next day.  So all men and women identify with Osiris the Sun God.  That is where religion comes from.  It started with Osiris, then the Jews innovated the Law, and then Christians synthesized it with Jesus, which is a kind of Jewish Osiris or Dionysus.  Hindus know religion is a kind of mythology from the subconscious and are not stupid.

I don't mind dying.  I have nothing left to live for.  Music makes dying easy, it is the sound of emotions.  So the best thing I ever did was learn to play guitar.  I have been playing for 25 years which is a quarter of a century, and I feel my music is better than the music of the past 20 years.  I liked Kurt Cobain and felt he let down a generation.

So I am content.  I am living in a different town now and I like it.  New York City is an important part of the world and Long Island is its suburban neighborhood.  The real estate is expensive for a reason, it is desirable.  Many people live here and work in the city.  And when I drive on the highway during rush hour, I feel bad for the working stiffs who need to spend an extra hour each way sitting in traffic.  The life of a worker seems unnecessary.  It is better to stay local, be less ambitious, and spend less money.  It is possible to live a better life with less money.  Money isn't everything.

So I am learning to like technology less.  I have a couple of acoustic guitars, a notepad, and a drawing pad.  Technology ruins everything.  You think it makes your life easier but it actually enables you.  In every stage of life, technology ruined humanity.  The Industrial revolution made us go from farm to factory.  The car is just a portable bed.  The guitar was the instrument the Twentieth century.  The telephone prevented us from leaving the house.  All new techonology is used for pornography.  And the computer and smartphone made us mindless masturbation addicts.  My life had of been better had I not become dependent on the smartphone and computer.  And driving prevented me from getting out there and meeting people.

So when you help someone, you are actually belittling them, and when you teach them how to do it for themselves you are empowering them.  It is like that saying 'give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach him how to fish he eats for a lifetime.'

I have been through all the changes in my life and I learned all the lessons.  I can just enjoy the party til I'm done.

Freedom and Immortality

This is the goal of all yogic practice.  The point of life is not to acquire more stuff or win the World Series.  You are going to die anyway.  You cannot take it with you when you go.  Life is like a song, it starts on the rootnote it goes through several changes, and it ends at the beginning.  It is for this reason that there is no getting anywhere in life.

I enjoy my life.  Had I not attained zen in 1986, I would not be here.  I won immortality and therefore, I am alive.  A man can live without a body, but a man cannot live without a spirit.  A human being is mind, body, spirit.  The body is reconstituted nutrition, the spirit is the animating force from God, and the mind cannot be undesrtood.  The fourth aspect is the emotions.

We meditate so we can achieve enlightenment.  Zen does not just mean meditation.  It means spiritual attainment.  When you achieve the moment of zen, you understand reality and are not caught up in rebirth anymore.

The meaning of life is to be happy.  In this world, we are not happy.  And we do wrong things that make us less happy.  Coca Cola tastes sweet but it is essentially poison.  And meds taste acrid but heal us inwardly.

So everything is compensating from extreme yin to yang.  When you embody equilibrium, you embody balance and power.  When you are extremely yin or yang, you are erratic and unhappy.

So I am not intent on making more money, I want a better work/life balance.  I know I need more jobs to get more lapdances.  But I want simply to live a better life and die a better death.  The values of the world don't affect me, it means nothing to me.  If I died a penniless hobo, I would be happy and I was Surgeon General I would also be happy.

I want more but I am not intent on more.  I must simply work harder and get more results.

But since I attained zen at such a young age, I can be content with myself.  In 1986, I attained kensho after learning the folly of violence.  Some Hispanic kid insulted me, I tackled him, got full mount on him, and bashed his head into the ground.  I was angry and full of rage.  I started kicking everyone on the playground and attacking people at will.  And then one Indian friend said to me 'you can't just go around kicking people!'  and at that, I attained kensho.

So the meaning of my life was realizing nonviolence is the only path to victory.  Aggression is wrong.  And doing nothing is also wrong.  All a man must do is do his duty and keep the wheel in motion.

I like the Beatles.  At the height of their fame, they went to India and learned Yoga.  In the 1960s, they were the most famous and popular people in the world, and even they realized fame and honor is nothing.  The spirit is worth more than the body.

So my life is my offering.  My lifestyle is my religion.  In Japan, there is no religion. There lifestyle is their faith, so they are not hypocrites.  They don't even like the zen monks in their black robes.

I want to work and make more money and be a kind person.  I realize the devil has power over this world.  But since I am alive I must endure.  Graphic Design is a kind of career field.  I want to be more succesful.  It doesn't make you more happy, it just gives you more power and pleasure.

The message of this post is, the real accomplishment is zen, and worldiness is sin.  But since we are alive, we must balance between the spirit and the flesh.

Getting Less Ambitious

I am learning to be less ambitious.  My college educations didn't help me that much.  From Acupuncture, I got one paying client, and from Graphic Design, I got one paying job so far.  Results don't matter.  Good people are poor and live humble lives.

My hobbies became my profession and my educations became my hobbies.  You learn by doing.  College is a type of scam where you take a loan, you get a fake education in fake principles not based on reality, and you graduate in student loan debt in hopes of recovering the investment.  I was brought up thinking a Jew must have a college degree.

I have been doing grappling and judo a long time.  It has been over 20 years.  20 years is a generation.  I am like Rumpelstiltzken waking up in a future generation.  But now I am the Master.

I know money is not everything.  It is worldly power and freedom, but any Hindu knows, money is simply our obligation in the world.  A spiritual man doesn't live for this world, but he does his duty because he must.  Going to work is liking going to a war.

My acupuncture degree didn't help me.  It is just theoretical knowledge.  My graphic design education was thorough and I learned slowly and gradually over the course of 2 or 3 years.  In acupuncture college, I was an A+ student, in graphic design I was a C+ student.  Studying and doing are two things.  You can be the best student and the worst at actually doing it, or you can be a mediocre student who never gives up on himself and eventually succeeds.

I know I am the best graphic designer possible.  I have been studying art and mythology at my hometown library for over 30 years.  I started using sketchbooks in the 90s.  I was educated in high school in English and computers.  And I like being creative and socializing.

But ultimately, I just want to have fun.  Life is about having fun.  I always enjoyed grappling of all kinds and realize it is all derived from Judo.  And I always liked music videos and saw how the Chinsy Beatles music was derived from the black music of the American south.  That is what the British Invasion was all about, British people playing black people's music for a virulently racist American white audience.  The Americans would not buy black people's records, but they would buy the same music from white people.  America is a racist country founded on slavery.

So the beat goes on and I continue.  I don't want to make more money and marry and have children.  Marriage is for children.  Dating is for having fun.  Prostitution is a part of life.  Most women do handjobs and footjobs and blowjobs for money.  The myth of the good girl is a myth.  By 15 or 16, most people are fucking and fighting and making money.  So the best part of life is between the ages of 8 and 15 when children are developing and learning as much as possible.  Once they start working and fucking, they are already corrupt.

I will live out my years in peace.  I realize the graphic design education was better than the acupuncture education because it is more in line with who I am.  I am a creative person not a doctor.  I am not mature enough to be a doctor.

Judo gave me a lot of joy.  I was undefeated for 15 years.  And I played guitar for 25 years, and got really good about 20 years ago.  For the past generation, I was the king of rock n roll in a time when music was commercial crap.  I liked Kurt Cobain and felt he ruined the world by committing suicide.  Only a coward dies leaving behind a wife and child.  He died in 1993, the Beatles released their 30 year reissue in 1994, and I started guitar lessons in 1995.  That was 25 years ago.  So for a quarter of a century, I have been a musician.

I need to get less ambitious.  My two educations didn't help me.  It is just a scam to make money.  If you want to be a businessman, learn psychology and military strategy, and above all learn how to socialize.  If you cannot socialize, you cannot work.  I just want to do my hobbies and live a less ambitious life.

If I was smart, I would study Psychology.  Every guy who has problems and is fairly intelligent studies psychology to gain greater insight into what is going on in his mind.  And those crazy bitches at mental health clinics all do porn on the evenings and weekends.  Reversal is the movement of the Tao.  If you are crazy learn psychology.  If you can't fight, get some judo instruction.  If you are frail, do bodybuilding.  If you are lonely, play a musical instrument.  We compensate for what we don't have.

When I was training boxing, my coach said to me 'I think Buddhist Psychology is right up your alley.'  But I wanted to be the heavyweight champion of the world and I was not mature.  Now that I mastered Judo and Graphic Design, I see that I should do something better.  Judo and Art are both for children.  The Japanese excel at Art and Wrestling because they are simple and childlike.  But I must go beyond childhood.

So I can be less ambitious but more fulfilled, but still have the desire to improve my position in the world.  I like helping people and teaching them.  If I could practice in a clinical setting, I could use all my knowledge of art, music, judo, diet, psychology, philosophy, sexology, etc...  A Psych worker is a kind of soothsayer giving sick people advice.  And I am all about Shamanic culture.

So I resolve to continue and keep striving.  The Corona Virus ruined America and all we can do is learn to cope.  I know I will survive.  I will just stay focused and just do what I can do.

Looks and Money

I feel compelled to write this.  Women these days are hard to please.  In America, they are very demanding and expect a lot out of a man.  They want looks and money.  If  man doesn't have a full head of hair, a six pack, a 6 inch cock, a 100,000 in the bank, drives a nice sports car, has a freakin day job, etc... he is not a contender.

I don't like high price women.  I feel all women are losers, and the best women are humble losers.  By nature, any man is better than any woman.  And there is no such thing as a transgender.  Amongst primitive creatures like Portuguese fighting fish, there is cases of males becoming females and females becoming males.  But this is amongst simple animals.

The mythology of Hinduism is based on science.  The first avatar was a simple turtle like creature in the primordial waters.  The last avatar will be Kalkin, the preserver of Truth.  Some say Buddha, the 8th avatar, was an evil incarnation of God who taught wrong religious views like no soul and no reality.

The meaning of life is simply to keep living.  If you want to die, you are a loser.  That is why suicide is considered a crime in the USA.  You are mudering yourself.  Sex is about carring on the genome.  Self Defense is about survival and victory.  Eating is about nourishing yourself.  The root chakra oversees food, sex, and aggression.  That is where you start.

But as you move put the chakras, you end in the crown chakra.  This governs enlightenment and being in touch with the universe.

Women want looks and money.  Nobody gets free sex.  The reason why high school girls fuck for free is that they live in their parents home so they don't pay rent money.  The reason why children fight without weapons is because their hands are slow and they want to prove their better.  And kids listen to rock n roll because it excites them and makes them want to dance.

I don't like American women.  Most of them are overweight, they are fake looking, they are conceited, and they are deceptive.  In a society where you must hustle to make money, sex is a commodity, and the more beautiful you are the more valuable you are.

But I value different things in women.  I like sincerity, humility, honesty, self reliance, and courage.  These are not typical qualities in a woman.  Most women have no courage and are not honest.

I don't go to bars because that is not where the fun is.  The worst fighters, lovers, musicians, and chefs are at a bar.  I can beat anybody in any bar in new york city.  I am a better musician than anyone in current pop music.  I possess a ten inch cock.  And my home cooking is better than anything I ever tasted at a restaurant.  They use extremely low quality oils and salts in restaurants in order to maximize profit margins.

What I am trying to say is, Reversal is the Movement of the Tao.  People compensate for what they don't have.  In a society where you must be number one or nobody, you talk like you are number one but in your heart you know you are nobody.  This is called the Active compensation mechanism.  You try to pretend to be what you are not.  The reason why I never leave the house is because I don't like the world.  My home cooking is better than restaurant food.  I enjoy playing guitar better than going to a noisy nightclub.  I want peace and feel threatened by punk ass dudes in baggy pants with the hat backwards.  I make friends with anyone around me.  I am a quiet homebody.

I don't like the world.  I don't like most women.  I see no value in money.  I see the TV as being fake ass bullshit.  The world seems to be an illusion.  When you realize the world is an illusion, it doesnt affect you anymore.  When you become conscious, you can solve your problems.

So I do not like American women.  If I visited Europe, women would approach me at the metro station.  European women are much more easy than American women.  And Christianity died in Europe in the mid 19th century.  They don't even pretend to have morality anymore.   You can see pornography on the newstands in France or Germany.  But America keeps its integrity, that is why America is better.

So I do not want to travel to Europe or Africa.  I just want to stay local and get to know my little corner of the world.  Long Island girls are all pretty good.  They are fit and toned but a bit overweight because they eat too many cinnabons.  But country will grow.

So I must learn to manipulate female psychology and win dates.  Most women are strippers and pornstars.  They just don't walk around saying it.  Most people over 18 have tact and restraint.

I love fighting and keep my integrity til judgement day.  The more danger there is, the more excitement there is.  Because crisis means opportunity.  When there is chaos, there is a chance to both win and lose.  So if you stay at home all day, you accomplish nothing, and if you go out and try, you are bound to win one out of ten times even if you are totally random.

So I will enjoy my home life and strive to improve my position outside the home.

Nature

The real religion is nature.  Any real Christian knows, God is Love.  God is not victory or salvation or wining or repentence.  God is Love.  We simply live to survive, and we want to make love all day long.

I want to win.  I want to find a wife and survive and bring forth seed into the world.  Yoga is based on science.  Science is simply studying nature.  God created Nature, Nature created us, so when we study nature, we study God.  You will never know all of what God knows.  You would be lucky if you knew 10%.

I love certain things.  I love music and Aikido and cooking and women and clothing and so forth.  Graphic Design and Copywriting are just job skills.  You are not defined by your work, it is simply something you do for survival.

Nature is about neutrality.  The etymology is similar.  It all comes from Neter which means Natural Law.  The Egyptians invented science and religion and knew both where just ideas that you speculate on.  Ideas don't work.  Arguing biblical Christianity vs Evolution is a waste of time.  Nobody was there at the beginning of Creation, so know one knows if the bible is 100% accurate or monkeys started walking and talking.

Obviously, evolution is based on a theory that one species can change into another.  And if you take the bible literally, life began with the fish and ended with Adam Kadmon.  The lowest creature is the fish, and the perfect man is the embodiment of Christ.

There are many appelations of Jesus known in the real Christian faith.  Firstborn of Creation, King of the Jews, A Light to The Gentiles, New Adam, The Hero of History, etc...  Jesus is in reality the second God.  The Light is the real God.  The Light has consciousness and is totally benevolent.  It simply wants to expand.  God can only give and we can only receive.

But what the symbolism of the bible means, is that Jesus is not God incarnate and there is no trinity.  Jesus is the first most perfect creation, and in the beginning there was only the light and the dark.

So the meaning of life is love, and Jesus loves you, baby.  The light loves you even more.

I am a religious man who loves food and sex and music and having fun.  I see religion not as a thing that burdens you, but that empowers you.  God is Love.  We simply want to love ourselves and survive.

So I keep doing work as duty and doing my hobbies as something I desire.  The my favorite thing is simply to sit down and play guitar.  I also get a kick out of Aikido.  And I cook two meals per day.  My life is rich, and i am not lacking anything.  So I continue.

P and B

This is something I learned which stands for 'pork and beans'.  It is the most humble, common dish, and yet, the most good.  This post will be about nutrtition.

The most humble, simple answer is always the best.  In nutrition, you do not need to overdo it.  Less is more.  That was the whole premise of my first book.  You get to be the master by doing less with more efficency, not flailing.  Flailing doesn't work.

Pork and Beans, chicken and rice, beans and cheese, cheese sandwich, are all things I make on a regular basis.  It is not hard to figure out diet.  It is not rocket science.  Nutrition is the first thing you should learn as a child.  Nutrition is not everything, but it is the first step.  The final step is spirituality, and between those two things you should get a job.

But back to nutrition.  The humble, simple thing is always best.  I seem to have mastered nutrition.  I started cooking about 17 years ago when I got into a situation where I gained a lot of weight and wanted to cure myself through diet.  I would go to the local library and take out books on Atkins diet, ethnic cuisine, and nutrition.  And over ten years or so, I imbibed, pardon the pun, a lot of knowledge about nutrition.

It wasn't until I met Luke Cummo, a former UFC fighter who practices vegan nutrition that I learned how to help myself.  While I am not a strict vegan, I learned from him things that most people don't know.  Obviously, raw foods veganism is malnutrition.  But it is better to be underfed than overfed, and most people in America are overfed.  They eat too much, get sick, and go to the doctor to fix them.

This is obviously a flawed medical model.  If you don't eat too much, you don't get sick and then you can skip the trip to the doctor.  Get real.  Nutrition as medicine is taken seriously in India, but here it is not.  Because medicine is just a business.

Open Market Economy seems to ruin everything.  At once, it allows for growth and competition and rivalry, but also, there is no moral compass.  The only requisite for doing something is, can I afford to?  Will I make a profit margin?  Am I making enough to cover costs?  There is no morality in business, and it seems, there is no limit to the evil men do.

So I produce both albums and books.  The music is just for fun and to pretend I am Chuck Berry.  But writing the books is my way of using my education to help people.  I cannot practice acupuncture in a clinical setting.  And massage is not my style.  But if I can educate the public on health and nutrition, then I have done my job.

So what I am trying to say is, less is more.  When you intentionally live simpler, you are happier than someone who overdoes it.  All this American food is low quality and just manipulates your evolutionary need for fat, sugar, and salt.  They are manipulating you to their advantage.

As the years go by, I want to write more nutrition books.  And in my personal life, I want to study about Mexican food.  I know a lot about Indian food, because Indian food is home food.  But I am ethnically a type of Latino and I want to know about my own culture.  Potatoes are boring.

So look out for my new book.  It is coming soon.

The Soft Overcome The Hard

You will find that in every aspect of life, this is true.  The obvious thing is not true.  The counter-intuitive thing is always right.  You did not create the universe.  God created the universe.  A good man is humble and knows he doesn't know.  Humility goeth before honor.

In self defense, if you are tight and big and slow, you won't win.  Good fighters are soft, supple, have hand speed, flexibility, long arms and legs, and are agile on their feet.  They know how to yield.  Self defense is a metaphor.  The soft overcome the hard.

In combat, the evil man wins through treachery.  Combat means stealth and weapons.  It doesn't make you the better man.  It just means you are more sneaky.  But in reality, there is no justice in this world.  Combat is better than self defense.  But best of all is nonviolence.  To win without a fight, is to be the master.

So there are three types of warriors.  The Ninja, the Samurai, and the Saint Soldier.  Everyone knows Ninjas and Samurais from Japanese culture.  But few know what the Saint Soldier is.  The holy book of the Hindus is called the Baghavad Gita.  It is a story told in poetic meter of an archer and his charioteer discussing the nature of success and the meaning of life.

In brief, it is a story of an archer who doesn't want to fight in a battle of rival clans.  The charioteer, who in folklore is known as God incarnate, instructs him he must do his duty or he is a coward.  In 18 chapters, Krishna instructs Arjuna on the meaning of life and duty.  In the end, Arjuna gets the courage and fights, and wins.  It is a story of courage and doing the right thing.  You can read one thousand books and know little or read the Gita and know every book.  It is one book that summarizes all books.

In America today, there seems to be stratification of society.  The whites and Chinese are the upper class.  The blacks and latinos are the underclass. The Jews know they are wrong but they love the money.  It is easy to manipulate gentile minds.  They are limited.

Indo European is a variant of white, Arab is a variant of Jew.  There are only really five races and two genders in the world.  You won't be too popular talking about gender issues in America.  But I love studying race and racial characteristics.

Your race and gender is your identity.  It doesn't change within one lifetime.  It is what it is.  Believe in yourself.  You are here for a reason.  God didn't create you by accident.  You deserve it baby.

So in all manners of life, the soft overcome the hard.  The obvious thing is not true.  In any thing in life you can see this.  A man who is muscle bound can't punch.  A man who can't stand up, can't box.  He can't kickbox either.

Even in sex, the soft overcome the hard.  A man ejaculates in less than 2 minutes.  Some ejaculate in 20 seconds.  A woman needs at least 6 minutes to achieve the first orgasm.  So even the woman is soft, she lasts longer than the man, who is hard.  Even in the bedroom, the soft overcome the hard.

Even in society this is true.  Whites and Chinese are in general terrible athletes.  Blacks and Latinos are the best athletes.  But if you are not Pro or Olympic talent, you don't get anything for it.  The best soccer players are Latin, the best boxers and runners are Black.  Whites and Chinese seem like children in physical maturity compared to ethnic people.

But in American society, blacks and latinos are downtrodden and poor, and whites and Chinese are rich and succesful.  Physical strength means nothing.  The main thing in success is knowledge, the ability to socialize, and the ability to budget your resources.  Success has little to do with talent.  You must impress this upon the youth.  Don't let them live in fantasy land.  It doesn't help them.  There is no Santa Claus.

Donald Trump is the symptom of an evil society.  Obama tried to help America and came up short.  He is known as a hero.  Trump is hated by everyone, but you can't openly say that, or you will lose your day job.  I have no fear.  The story of America is the story of slavery.  It turns out Americans are more racist and antisemtic and mysogonistic than Nazi Germany or Russia.  But they are sneaky.  If you can make the money and pay the taxes, we will leave you alone.  We love the money.  But money can't buy me love.

I am not trying to incite a race riot.  I am trying to help by exposing America's flaws.  I am more patriotic than most Americans.  I see the obvious problems with this society.  It is deeply flawed.  Self Defense, Combat, and nonviolence, is just a metaphor.  It is philosophy.  In reality, we all need food, sex, and aggression.  It is part of our life.  It is the animal part of man.  But I got to get my jin on too.  I am no different.

If America wants to regain its standing in world society, it must get over race and gender issues.  Men are stronger than women.  Don't oppress them.  Blacks and Latinos are the best athletes, but they are less educated, so they do menial labor.  Don't despise them.  If white people want to stay in power, learn how to unlearn.  Observe other cultures and how they conduct themselves.  South America and Asia has a lot to offer the Anglo American.  Europe and Israel is very liberal and permissive.  Africa seems to be growing the slowest.  They need education and Christianity.

You will find some day, that power is not power.  Knowledge is power.  When you are educated, it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor.  Knowledge is the great equalizer.  I use Aikido as a metaphor for life.  The soft overcome the hard.  Aikido is about talking your way out of situations, and if you must fight, trap them down and pin them, and restrain them till they give up.  Nobody can take on multiple opponents and weapons.  That is Hollywood Karate.  Self Defense means your ability to win a fair fight.  Combat means your ability to hurt and kill.  Self Defense is for children, Combat is by nature sin.

A real man wrestles in high school and college, then he gets a job, a wife, a place of his own, and moves on.  Nonviolence is the discipline of life.  It doesn't make you a coward.  America is less Christian, more antisemitic, and more tolerant towards Islam.  These are dark days.  Brace yourself.

So I will keep living a quiet mystical lifestyle, playing music, writing books about health and nutrition, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.  Most of all I like music, but I also need food, sex, and sport.  I tend to neglect sport.  But I know I am not doomed and most times I am happy as a loon.  So I know I am soft and have the capacity to overcome the hard.  Aikido is  a metaphor for life.  You have a right to defend yourself, but don't be an asshole.

So the beat goes on.  Peace.

You Do What You Want To Do

The best career advice I got was from a friend on Facebook.  She posted a meme that had a picture of a girl with a camera and had a caption that read, 'do your hobbies long enough, and they become your profession'.

That about sums it up.  These days, I do music and cooking on a daily basis.  I dedicate one hour every day to cooking, and at least one hour every day to music.  So day by day, my skill increases.  I have been playing guitar for 25 years and cooking for 17 years.

The way to succeed is to do a little bit every day, day in and day out, and never quit on yourself.  The daily grind.  But most people only do what they love here and there and aren't consistent.  Some give up completely.  So they lose.

I do graphic design for the money.  It is my job.  But I really enjoy music and food and other things.  So I do duty and I have fun.  This is a wonderful lifestyle.

In my life, I have met people who have fun jobs.  And the reason they are doing the job they want is because they started early and never stopped.  I know an environmental conservationalist, a vegan chef, a judo instructor, a boxing coach, an art curator, a fashion designer, a kickboxing instructor, so on and so forth.  The thing they all have in common is that they started early and continued for over twenty years.  That means they started in youth on their dream.  Which means educators should expose children to different things between the ages of 8 and 15 so they get a glimpse of what they can become.

I would love to be a teacher of some kind.  In my youth, I went to a Jewish high school and had a great physical education teacher, a great music teacher, a great art teacher, and a great English teacher.  They tried to help.  Teachers are altruistic.  They don't do it just for the money.

In my life, I seperate business and pleasure.  Money ruins everything.  Most people are not professional boxers or pornstars.  Most people are not involved in Hollywood or MMA.  I do the simple office work to get the money so I can have the freedom to do what I want to do.  Money is power, and women are pleasure.

So I continue.  I enjoy my lifestyle.  I do what I must do.  Business before pleasure.  Of course, if I had my way, I would just collect state funds and just vegitate.  But then I would waste my life.  And I don't want to do that.

So the theme of this post is, do what you want to do.  Start young, and never stop.  Life is too short to not to what you want to do.  Do your hobbies long enough, and they become your profession.

Make that Money

Watch it burn.

I am learning about the real world.  John Lee Hooker was right.  It is all about women and money.

Money is worldly value.  Money is power.  Women are weak, so they need money.  You can't get women without money.

So the real world is not about ideals, or morals, or religion, or any artificial construct.  We want the love, and women know they are valuable, so we need the money.  It's money and everything else.

Of course, money is worthless and women are evil.  So the world is evil.  A Buddhist monk lives in a monastery and doesn't think much about money and women.  He doesn't enjoy power or pleasure, but pleasure and joy are not the same thing.

Joy has a spiritual component to it, Pleasure is with the body.  Food and Sex is very pleasurable.  Some people like other things.  But food and sex are the two natural appetites of a human being.  If you don't work, you don't eat.

My joy is music but I also need food and sex.  I find both pleasure and joy in everything I do.  Even work I see something I must do.  It is not just for the money.  It is a service to the world.

If I could, I would be a professional musician touring and performing.  But this is not a realistic goal.  I can play, but just not with the intention of making money  I have written over 50 good songs in my life.  I have produced 6 albums.

Graphic Design is a career field.  Copywriting and Design are both aspects of one business, Advertising or what is also called Marketing.  The picture, the title, and the blurb lures in the customer to click and see what you are saying or selling.  It is just a way of luring people in with something attractive.

So I think I have found my niche.  Chinese Medicine was never the right thing for me.  I am not a doctor.  I mastered nutrition, but that just makes me a health education expert not a doctor.  A doctor has to be able to diagnose a patient and intervene.  I am more of a Creative Professional.

So the beat goes on and I continue.  Copywriting and Design is the future of creative work.  The internet changed everything.  It made it easier to make money.  So overall, technology improved the life of many people.  But we are still suffering.  More money cannot make you more happy.  People need spirituality like Kabbalah and Yoga.  This is very modern philosophy.

So I am glad I have both a career and I know spirituality and nutrition.  But music is always the best thing in my life. I will just continue living with less ambition and more drive to do the daily grind.

My Music is Growing

So far, I have produced 6 albums since 2017.  The first one was taken off the internet.  So right now you can see 5 albums on YouTube and Spotify for stream and view.  I think my music is very creative and sounds like my influences.

I started with Nirvana, then went to the Beatles, then discovered the roots of rock n roll.  That is, black men playing guitar.  People like Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, Howlin Wolf and others.  The music just comes out of my soul and I write the chords before the lyrics.

I have a presence on Instagram, Reverbnation, and obviously YouTube and Spotify.  I love music more than anything and the money doesn't matter.  I have enough money.  I create the music because I want to touch someone out there.

I don't gig out so I don't know where the streams and views are coming from.  But I know someone out there digs it.  In 2019, I made 5.1k streams on Spotify.  Hopefully, in 2020 I will make more streams.  I am planning an electric album which will be out by the end of the summer.

So as I continue to work in an office, I also do music and books on the side.  I wish I could be a celebrity musician and author, but I realize it is an unlikely dream.  Rockstars are all drug users and authors tend to be intellectuals.

So I am not worrying about the future.  I am living in the present.  God understands the past, present, and future.  We only know now.  So we are limtied.  God is greater than mortal man.

I just want to promote my music and poetry and do what I want to do.  I can make money.  It's easy.  When I was in TCM school, one practitioner said, 'when you are done doing what you have to do, do you have the energy to do what you want to do?'.

The main thing in life is to be happy and productive.  It is not about results or more money and women.   If you are miserable now, then that is all you have.  Live in the here and now.

Music and Sport

I am learning to distinguish between reality and fantasy.

My two educations were in Acupuncture and Graphic Design.  A typical acupuncturist in this part of the world makes 100 dollars per hour.  A typical graphic designer makes 15 or 16 per hour.  The difference between a licensed profession and typical office work.

But now, Acupuncture is no longer an option.  I don't even have an active license anymore.  I have a graphic design job, so I am an actively working graphic designer.  It is a good career path.

The main thing in work is trading time for money.  It is a lot like high school and college.  You are rewarded for good behavior, consistency, and conformity.  They want you to do what they say.  It is not that hard to make and spend money.

So Graphic Design is my job.  But what I really love is my hobbies.  I have been doing guitar since 1995 and grappling since 1998.  I spent 5 years doing Shootfighting, 15 years doing judo, and 6 months doing sambo.  I also have boxing experience.  I am a trained combat athlete.  The belt rank and medals mean nothing, it matters that you have sparring experience and the conditioning of a trained fighter.  85% of men can't fight.

So I have a job, two hobbies, and I have enough money to get by.  Now that I have a good paying gig, it will lead to others.  It is called building your resume.  When one job is about to end, start looking for another one.  When you find a near ideal job, then you stay there a few years.  But I just do graphic design for the money, if there was no money involved, I wouldn't do it.

But this it the real world.  Without money, you don't get to enjoy any worldly power or pleasure.  Money is power, women are pleasure.  You need both, unless you are a Buddhist monk in a monastery.  They don't enjoy much power and pleasure.

I have 5 albums on YouTube and Spotify.  I listen to my own music a lot.  I think it is genius.  People don't really listen to rhythm and blues and rock n roll much anymore.  But I sound like what I listen to, and I listen to the old stuff.  I don't like hip hop and heavy metal.  I see the black hip hop music as having more creativity in it, but I am not from the Bronx so it doesn't interest me.

I can also do judo in a diminished capacity since when I was in my twenties.  Since 2008, people don't do doubles and singles anymore.  Without leg attacks, I can't really wrestle. I am a te-guruma expert.

Now that I am older, past 40, I am middle aged and more mature.  I think boxing is better than judo.  I think the music industry is better than Hollywood.  I think porno and MMA is not showbusiness, but a kind of drug you can get addicted to.  I am into reality not fantasy.  Americans have distorted values and the media is too liberal and anti-Christian and anti-Semitic.  Jews are always outcasts wherever they go, which shows how holy they are.

This world is worthless and the whole premise of the Hindu lifestyle is to be in the world but not of it.  As long as we have physical bodies, we are prisoners.  At least while you are alive, you can enjoy what you can enjoy and do the right thing.  Part of life is work.  Doing productivity for others not just yourself.  There is no life without work.  But when you are done with work, then you have the money and time to do what you really want to do.

I like music and sport.  Rhythm and Blues and Judo.  It is a bit old fashioned but I like it.  I don't like boxing and hip hop.  I am not a Jamaican guy from Brooklyn.  I'm a Syosset Jew.  But don't hold it against me.

So as time goes on, I will do what I must do to get to what I want to do.  If you were smart, you would check out my music on YouTube and Spotify.  It is free to you and it makes me 7 dollars for every 1000 streams.  It is old-fashioned music, but some people like this stuff.  At the very least, it is an exploration of the music of the climax.  The 1960s was a time when white kids and black kids were brought together with music.  Nowadays, black and white is more segregated than ever.

If you believe the media, it is white overclass and black underclass and Arabs are the enemy.  But this is just a delusion of the media.  They are lying to you.  All the problems in the world come from the myth of Aryan Supremacy.  If you don't believe in God, you think you are God.  And that is sin.

There are Latinos, Asians, and Jews who practice clean faith and live humble lives.  They are the real Israelites.  I hope I can grow my fanbase in South America.  I am sure I am a popular musician there.

So Music and Sport is what I enjoy.  So I will keep doing the work to get the play I want.  That is all I am trying to say.

It's Raining Cats and Dogs

It is fair to analogize that men are like dogs and women are like cats.  The counter-intuitive thing is always true.

Dogs are lovers, peaceful, gentle, and strong.  They are guardians.  They only fight if they have to, to defend their territory or protect their family.  A good man is like a dog.

Cats are by nature warlike.  They fight everyone, feel less emotion, hunt, kill, eat only meat, and spend a lot of time grooming and sleeping.  Cats are warriors.  If you move towards them, they run away, because most good warriors avoid violence unless they have no choice but to defend themselves.

The counter-intuitive thing is always true.  Cats are better fighters than Dogs pound for pound, but dogs are so big that cats seem like a joke in comparison.  But a 50 pound minx can eat a 50 pound pit bull.  Dogs are not a warlike species.  They are guardians, they are primarily designed for protection and living in a group.

God is love.  Dogs are better than Cats.  Dogs were the first domesticated animal, and cats were the last.  So Cats are the most wild.  They are the closest thing to nature in the modern world.

Men should be like dogs.  Women can't help but be like cats.  They have power.  They don't actually fight with their fists, but they compete in nonviolent ways.  Women compete through appearance, through the status of their boyfriends, through money, through their job, and in other ways.  Women don't dress up to attract men, they dress up to compete with other women.

Women are losers.  But we need them.  In all manners, women are more barbaric than men.  Men are more obvious, they punch you in the face or they tell you fuck you.  But that is kid's stuff.  Women control sex and choose the man.  So we are all just competing for women.

Love is the best feeling in the world.  There is no true love, but there are good relationships and terrible relationships.  The woman chooses the man.  Porno and strippers is just an illusion, where the man chooses the woman and uses her like a lump of meat.

Dating is nothing like porno, sexchat, and strippers.  That is why I haven't dated much.  I can't beat women.  I don't understand their psychology.  Good lovers know how to manipulate women and win the war of the sexes.

So if I want to learn how to date, I must learn female psychology.  These girls aint loyal.  I am tired of evil sex.  I am ready for a real relationship.  The fulfillment of life is the ideal marriage.  Not perfect, but ideal.  You will never find anything perfect.

This blog post was an analogy and a study in duality.  I am trying to understand things.  I don't know why I post to this blog, I get nothing from it.  But at least people who read this blog get some education in morality and moral reasoning.

If I was smart, I would promote my music and books and shut up.  But I am not smart.  I just want to have a ball.

I Come Electric

Today I started work on my next album.  I decided it will be all electric, including rhythm and lead.  It will be called, "Rhythm and Blues World Service" and feature a couple of classic covers.

I am more a fan of acoustic music, but I am running out of ideas.  Most of my acoustic songs are in the Key of E, A, or C.  I don't often play in Open G or Open D because that sounds too old fashioned.  The standard tuning of a guitar has the most versatility.

It is easier to sound good electric than acoustic, that is why most people prefer electric.  But I prefer acoustic.  This album will be exploring something new, and I will eventually go back to acoustic guitar.

When Bob Dylan went electric in the late 1960s, some people accused him of selling out.  But he was just going with the times and exploring different things, he was still a folk rock musician.  I dig Bob Dylan.

My album will probably feature 7 songs or so.  At least 2 of them will be covers, and there will be a few instrumentals.  But most of all, I enjoy writing my own songs.  It is when you push past the three major chords and add something extra that you create something unique.

So this new album will be lively and original.  I am hoping to create something as good as Lonely Days.  All of my albums are available on Spotify and YouTube.  You just have to look for Lior Avni in the search bar.

Meanwhile, I continue to write and plan a book for release by the end of 2020.  It is harder to write a book than an album.  Books are not easy to produce, but cost almost nothing to produce, so anything you make is profit.

So I continue to work as a musician and author, and I supplement my income with side jobs.  Life is not that bad.  It is when you stop learning new things that you die inwardly.  You can study all your life and know a fraction of what God knows.  So keep studying.  And that doesn't mean high school or college.

That means the bookstore, the library, Udemy, and Skillshare.  Even Adobe produces free video tutorials.  So you don't need a college degree to be smart.

Knowledge is power, not power is power.  Donald Trump has no real power.  It is by learning about fact not fantasy that you acquire power.  And when you are powerful, you are more joyous.

So I will continue to explore new sounds, new ideas, new exercises, new foods, and new women.  What is life if you don't enjoy it?  If you lived your life without enthusiasm, you missed the point.  When you do the right thing with enthusiasm do you get good results and a good reputation.

So keep on keepin on.

What Judo Means To Me

Judo is not just physical education or an Olympic sport where two jacket wrestlers throw each other.  There is a lot more to it than that.

Americans tend to be reductionist scientists and see one thing and one thing only.  But someone who practices empirical science knows that what happens now is based on a complex variety of factors that culminated in the past.  The past determines the present, and what you do now determines the future.

Judo is a martial art.  It is based on Jujutsu, and was formulated in the late 1800s in Japan as a way of making Jujutsu less about fighting and killing and more about education, moral principles, sport, and martial readiness.  It is not just throws and there are a lot of other forms of physical educaiton out there.

Sport Judo is about throw, pin, choke, and armlock.  It is like freestyle wrestling, but involves a jacket, the guard, the half guard, chokes, and armlocks.  So in theory it is more dangerous than wrestling, but in reality it is much safer.

MMA is essentially two punks brawling in a cage.  70% of MMA champions are freestyle wrestlers.  They almost make martial artists look bad, how strong and fast they are.  Aikido is weapons grappling, and involves the clinch in a different way.  It involves trapping and blending and pinning uki without harming him.  If you win without harming, you are a master.

Judo is great for the young.  Ideally, you should start between 8 and 10.  You could start as late as your teens or college years.  But if you want to be World Champion, start at 8 or 9 or 10.

Boxing is more hardcore, and has nothing to do with physical education.  It is essentially a fight with gloves on, and only people from the lower echelons of society who have no other option to make money get involved in pugilism.  Judo is something high minded and civilized, and is very popular with the Police and the Military.

I am not a fan of BJJ and MMA.  They seem like guys who took judo techniques and took it too seriously.  It's just Judo.  It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it matters that you get on the mat and you try.  It is better to try and lose than be an empty talker.

So in my life, I used Judo to make me mentally tough, to be confident, to believe in myself, and not to look down on anyone.  You could be champion one tournament and last place finisher the next.  That is what it can be used as phsyical education.  It makes you mentally tough.

Jigoro Kano was a great innovator in the martial arts.  Guys who are too dangerous to spar are delusional.  Just get on the mat and see who's better.  Randori is the vital aspect of Judo practice.  It is all non lethal techniques done in full force sparring.  There is no theory or technique or discussion.  You either win or you lose and you don't complain.

So if I had it all to do again, I wouldn't have done anything different.  Boxing is for guys who have nothing to give.  Grappling and MMA is for guys who think they are tough but can't stand up.  Wrestling and Judo is one thing, scholastic sport, and that is where the real men are.  Most truck drivers and cops were wrestlers in high school and college.  Then they got day jobs.  Now that Corona Virus has ruined America, we see that these low end, physical jobs are the most important jobs, and 80% of jobs are useless, sitting infront of a computer trading time for money.  In my part of New York, truck drivers, police officers, gas station employees, and grocery store workers are still hard at work while you enjoy downtime.

Perhaps my philosophy is not just empty philosophy.  Hindus do Hatha Yoga because it makes their body tough.  Joy lives in strength.  When you are physically strong, you are joyous and generous.  Judo makes you tough, and this empowers you to do something in the world.

I don't want a boring dayjob but I will work one if I have to.  I just want to play my guitar and cook my own food.  But if I want better women, I need more money.  So I see work as a fight I must fight.  That is the ideal of the Hindu warrior.  The man who fights because he must, not because he wants to.

So just keep showing up to work and doing the right thing.  They only way to get success and fame is by doing a little bit every day, day in and day out, and never quitting on yourself.  I use judo to make me better at everything else.

The Story of Lior J Avni

I will not write out my whole life story in this brief blog post.  All I want to tell you is the history of how I got to be such a great musician and writer.

With music, it all started in the 1980s.  I was young when I first learned about music.  Most of the music of the 1980s was crap, but some of it was good.  It was nothing like rhythm and blues or rock n roll of the 50s 60s and 70s.  I used to listen to mixtapes and dream with my eyes as I heard with my ears.

When the 90s came, I was a teenager in high school.  I had other interests like swimming, wrestling, food, pornography, and I had many friends.  But music was the most special.  I hated waking up at 6am to make the bus to high school because I am a night owl and can't wake up before 9am.  So I would go through high school like a zombie and come home exhausted.

Every day, I would nap from 3pm to 6pm and then wake up and watch MTV from 6pm to bedtime.  That was my life in high school.  Between 1992 and 1996, I absorbed pop culture.  I wouldn't even do exercise or homework.  I would always manage to do homework the next day in the library during my free period.  So although I was lazy and self indulgent, I was intelligent enough to graduate high school with a 85 average, which is slightly above average.  Anything above 90 is good.

Nirvana was the biggest hit of the 1990s, and there where other hit acts then like Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Iced Tea.  Then there was pop music like Mariah Carey.

This was the last great music of the modern era.  When Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1993 or 1994, he ruined himself, pop music, and western culture with him.  The music of the past 25 years has been commercial crap, with some cleverness here and there.  I started playing guitar in 1995 when I discovered The Beatles.  Their 30 year reissue of their two greatest hits albums was a revelation.  I could hear real music from creative musicians having a ball.

After my youth and obsession with the Beatles, I went back in time to the rhythm and blues that inspired them.  Most of all, I liked Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.  The black musicians of the 50s spawned the British musicians of the 1960s, and the past 50 years have been an explosion of creativity.  Pop music is very important to me.

I am not just a musician.  Throughout my four decades or so, I have mastered Judo, writing, drawing, cooking, the Baghavad Gita, the concepts of Kabbalah, and other things.  My two books on Amazon are about using my TCM education in a way to educate the common people on stuff people in India and China already know.

Best of all, the Baghavad Gita inspired me to fight the good fight and never quit.  Philosophy can save your life.  By doing the right thing with enthusiasm, you get good results and a good reputation.  I used Hindu Philosophy to be a great Judoka and a great musician.  I am also a great writer.

I know I should concentrate on writing moving forward because that is where the money is.  And nutrition seems to be a subject that appeals to everyone.  You won't get very far talking about race, gender, politics, the history of America, Aryan supremacy and its fallacy, or the Asiatic Black Man.  These are controversial subjects.  Race and Gender are hot topics in the USA.

Moving forward, I will create more albums or original music with some covers on them, write boooks on health and nutrition, and resume practice of my favorite exercises, like kickboxing, judo, swimming, and yoga.  I have let my physical health go.  Perfect diet is not enough to be healthy.  You must exercise or your body will become decrepit by age 50.

So my life began in the attainment of zen, and ended in music.  I have learned a lot in 41 years.  By far, music gives me the most pleasure, but it doesn't give me the most money.  And at this point, I need to improve my money situation.  I am not as established as most middle aged men.

So I need to scheme up a way to increase my money situation without relying solely on music.  Judo, writing, health education, fitness, are all possibilities.  I don't want to do the bare minimum for the rest of my life.  I am not doomed.  I want multiple streams of income from online work that help me live a humble but contented lifestyle.

If I want to enjoy the next 20 years of my life, and 20 years means a generation, I must learn to get out of the house, socialize, create relationships, and be of benefit to someone other than myself.  It's easy to do the bare minimum and just live for yourself.  But that is how a child is not a grown person.  The riddle of Kabbalah is, altruism is more fun than being selfish, but most people are selfish and not altruistic, that is why they are miserable.  Learn early that giving is better than receiving.

The Courage

It takes courage to survive this world.  These days, religion is less popular because people feel they can't be religious and have a good time.  But this comes from flawed logic.  They assume that since Christianity was the prevailing religion of Europe and they assume that white people are the master race, that if Christianity is dying all religion is dying.  But this is not an accurate use of logic.

There are other religions, systems, and worldviews out there.  I myself am not a practicing religious person but realize that religion civilized humanity and was the driving force behind law and ethics.  It started with Abraham the first Jew who was monotheistic, nonviolent, and monogamous when a time when men were lawless barbarians.  Then Jesus came a long and reworked the Hebrew tradition in his own way.

But there is also the religion of the east, of India, a nation that spawned Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.  All three religions are valid, real, and worthy of study.  Hinduism became popular in South Asia, Buddhism spread to East Asia, and Jainism stayed small because of its unrealistic nature.

Buddhism is about monastic discipline and finding enlightenment.  Jainism is about nonviolence, veganism, and avoiding doing all evil.  But Hinduism seems to have the most potential.  Yoga is the mystical aspect of Hinduism and Hatha Yoga is just one aspect of it.

In India, education if the youth is very important.  Children should be educated in diet, wrestling, hatha yoga, and sex education.  As you progress, you should learn a skill and take 20 years to master it.  If you start judo at the age of 8, by the time you are 28 you will be a World Champion.  It takes 20 years of daily practice to master anything.  I am just using judo as an example.

As you go through young adulthood, middle age, and old age, you should work and play and love in harmony.  By the time you are really elderly, you should leave the world of men and retire to nature to find God.  To die with contentment is victory.

So it takes courage to live, and you don't actually have to knock anybody out.  That doesn't make you courageous.  A good man is instructed by his father, teachers, and rabbi or priest and does the right thing because he must do it.  This is one of the essential teachings of Hinduism, duty.  That life is not a free for all or orgy, that you must do service before you get to the fun part.

Real courage is about doing the right thing with enthusiasm and getting the right result.  The main holy book of the Hindus is called, 'The Baghavad Gita' and summarizes all Hindu philosophy in one book of 18 chapters.  Chapter 7 is a summary of the summary.  In it, a Charioteer instructs and Archer on the nature of duty, success, the meaning of life, a man's role in society, vice, virtue, courage, and excellence.  It is one book that summarizes a thousand books.

So instead of debating on Evolution vs Christianity, or going to the next Tinder date, or watching MMA at the local bar, I suggest picking up a copy of this book and reading it for yourself.  Even if you understand one line from this book, it will enrich your life and help you live better.

Hinduism and Yoga is not about morality.  It is not about worship.  It is about lived religion, about living a good life and dying a good death.  It has tremendous potential.

Back in the Saddle Again

Last night I resumed judo practice and it was a great workout.  My dream is coming to fruition, and this is only the beginning.

Judo is physical education.  It has some use for self defense, but the point is to empower you to do something in the world.  It is not to choke the man out.

Judo is comprised of throw, pin, choke, and armlock.  In the 1970's, it used to be called, 'grappler's self defense'.  It is a playfight, a fight without strikes and weapons.  It is very useful as physical education because it is not damaging to the human frame.  It is in that way similar to collegiate wrestling, which could also be used as physical education.

I realize music is not that lucrative for a guy like me.  But you must diversify in this economy.  I want to do judo, music, and nutrition, and keep educating the youth.  The youth are the future, they are pure and innocent and less corrupt because they don't need to worry about money.  Money is the root of all evil.

I know boxing, grappling, and MMA have merit in self defense.  But judo has a rich combination of benefits.  It is team combat, self defense, physical education, a good workout, a social event, a moral pedagogy for the youth, and a way to attain enlightenment.  It is not just jacket wrestling.

So I realize college is a scam and my scholastic education did not help me at all.  You learn by doing.  I learned music, judo, and cooking by doing.  Do your hobbies long enough, and they become your profession.  Don't impregnate your high school girlfriend and be stuck raising children while you are still a child yourself.  Lust is not worth it.  Dayjobs are boring and I want to have fun for a living.  So learn nutrition in youth, take twenty years to master a skill, and find Krishna in the end.

Life is good.
